Repeat characters with a little more back ground and more interesting. Good writing, good story, nice twist at the end of the mystery.
Pretty good. Some good twists and turns that added confusion. Keeps you guessing who done it. I enjoyed the read. I'll look for another book in the series.
I enjoyed reading another of Falafel Jones' mysteries(Max Fried) and so I bought this one. It was very good also. I liked the story since I could relate(age wise) to Max and his dialogue and references. I hope this author keep writing this type of mysteries.
This is the second novel I have read in the Max Fried series. I enjoy his writing and this was a good book to read.
I live near the location these books feature. So not only do I enjoy the mystery but love knowing exactly where Fried is talking about. The first in the series "Life's a Beach" was also excellent. Hope to see more in the future.
This sequel to "Life's a Beach and Then You Die" brought back the familiar characters and threw in the usual bit of humor. I enjoyed the characters the first time around and wanted to continue following them. I will probably read more of Falafel Jones' work. I like her style.
This is a simply wonderful book. Very entertaining and had my attention immediately. Very light and easy to read mystery that will kept me entertained throughout the entire book. A great "get a way" at the end of a long day.
