I have always respected the job he did on the air, but I have a whole new appreciation for him and his talents after reading this wonderful book.King tells the story of him and his recently deceased wife Maggie. It is a love story and a life story. King pulls no punches. Maggie isn't perfect. He isn't perfect. Their life isn't perfect. Yet, it is great. Theirs is love and warmth. King relates everything without getting sappy.
If this was a movie, there wouldn't be a dry eye in the theater. There would also be some laughter, some introspection and some altered thought patterns.
King wrote a winner here. Don't miss it.

Very good story.
Great read. This author paints a beautiful picture with his words. You can feel the love they had for each other as you read the book.
Kept me interested in every page
Very well written. True story about the love between a man and his wife against the heartache of her limitations. She was an inspiration to anyone with disabilities. His love for her was unbelievably unselfish. She had the courage and also the love for her fellow human beings that gave her a love of life not commonly seen even among people who are healthy and whole. Highly recommended reading.
This heartwarming book was hard to put down. A love story like no other.
I have watched and listened to Rich King for many years with no idea about he and Maggie. What a beautiful love story.
Maggie King must have left a meaningful impression on all whom she met. Despite a hearing problem, blindness and cancer, she graduated from nursing school, treated hundreds of people and counseled the visually impaired, all the while building a loving marriage to her husband, Rich King. Her spirit will have you believing you have so much more to give in this life.
